In March 2020, after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, governments around the world implemented stay-at-home orders within days of each other. Schools closed. Offices emptied. Streets fell quiet. By April, more than half the world's population was under some form of lockdown — the largest simultaneous restriction of human movement in recorded history. What was initially announced as a matter of weeks stretched into a recurring cycle of lockdown, reopening, and re-closure that continued well into 2021.

This shirt is a documentary record of that experience. The back is structured as an infographic, organized into four panels: When did it start. How long did it last. How did people cope. What harm was caused. The central illustration shows the universal scene — a figure in bed surrounded by toilet paper towers, gaming controllers, pizza boxes, streaming menus, and a phone permanently in hand. Below, the facts are laid out plainly: the economic toll, the mental health toll, the social toll, the educational toll, the healthcare toll. No dramatization. Just the record.
