Season 3 continues with the chapter that reshaped a generation. When schools closed in March 2020, more than 1.5 billion students worldwide — roughly 90% of the world's enrolled learners — were sent home from classrooms within weeks. What followed was the largest unplanned education experiment in human history. Kindergarteners learned to mute themselves on Zoom. High schoolers attended graduation in the family living room. Parents became unpaid co-teachers overnight, often while doing their own jobs from the kitchen table. Teachers redesigned their entire profession over a single weekend. And students with special needs — those who depended most on in-person support services, therapists, aides, and structured environments — lost the systems built to help them, often with consequences that are still being measured.

This shirt is a documentary record of that experiment. The back is structured as an infographic, organized into panels: When did it happen. How did students cope. What did parents face. How long did it last. Special needs impact. What harm was caused. The central illustration shows the universal scene — a child slumped at a makeshift desk, Zoom classroom open on a laptop, papers scattered across the floor, a parent watching from the doorway, unsure what to do next. Below, the facts are listed plainly: the learning loss, the social development missed, the unequal access to technology, the special needs regression. The hybrid year that followed. The slow, uneven return.

It's a piece for the people who lived it. For the teachers who built new lesson plans from scratch every night. For the parents who learned what their kids were actually being taught. For the students who graduated into empty auditoriums. For the special education families who watched years of progress unwind in months. For anyone who knows that the cost of those classrooms staying closed will be paid out in installments for a long time.

The front carries the Lockdown Edition crest — "I SURVIVED" rendered in cloud-script under a moonlit sky over a stick figure stepping out of a shelter, with a biohazard sign below reading "LOCKDOWN 2020." The shared crest ties this season together; the back tells each chapter of the lockdown experience through fact, not feeling.
